The REAL

"Our next contestant is......... BASHEL LEWIS!" It's not often that little black boys, like myself, get chosen for a game show on prime time TV. Yet, here I am $100 richer and featured on the hit talk show The REAL.  This experience was like none other (good and bad ). So let's get down to the REAL question, how did I make it on the show?

I signed up for free tickets on this site . Within a few days I got an email saying, "Congratulations, you have been chosen to attend a live taping of The Real." I begged my friends to go with me and we traveled to Warner Brother studios at 5 am... Yes, 5 am. When I arrived in the parking lot the producers announced they would be introducing a new game show and wanted young, enthusiastic, and vibrant audience members. I was selected out of the crowd amongst 100 people and they took me backstage to find out more about the finalist. All the celebrities were backstage and we were told not to interact with them or "fangirl" over them. After making videos of ourselves and sending it to their boss. They announced who would be featured on the show to play the game and lucky it was me! Off camera I had a dance battle against my friend and did a little bit of twerking for the audience lol 

Sidenote: The produce was black and an alumni of Clark Atlanta University, so shoutout to you Lauren for hooking me up .
