So, I'm not really into concerts because of all the pushing, pulling, and waiting in lines. However, there are some artists that will get me out of my bed- KEHLANI. From motivational speeches about self-love to outstanding vocals to twerking, the Sweet Sexy Savage tour is one show you don't want to miss. Fans were lining up outside at 9am for a sold out show in Birmingham, UK. I got there at 3pm, with a front row spot, thanks to VIP. 

When I finally got to meet Kehlani after her soundcheck, she seemed very relaxed. We giggled a little about me being from Atlanta and somehow ending up in the U.K. Then we talked about the "Get Like" chero, which I was busy dancing to rather than recording. During her performance, the highlight was when she talked about the LGBTQ+ community, how to ignore the haters and the current state of America. "Stress, depression, haters, inner thoughts, are all in this circle. And over here is your box of how you see yourself. Stay in your box and don't let the circle consume you!"

There is definitely more depth to Kehlani, than the eye can see. We ended the night by chatting "F**K Trump," and an emotional performance of her hit song Thank You. The Sweet, Sexy, Savage Tour is arguably one of the best "up-coming" R&B stars, tour out right now. Also, shoutout to Ella Mai and Jo for being so DOPE! One of the best opening Acts I've ever experienced.
