Though I am single, I know a thing or two about connecting with my future partner. As Generation Z, I feel like we focus more on the label of a relationship rather the connection. This Valentine’s Day I challenge you to get to know the person you’re talking to a little bit better. Below are a few test and questions to help you start.

Love Languages

Understanding each other love languages is an important factor in having a healthy relationship. When you’re getting to know someone it’s always a good thing to consider how they receive and give love. The five languages Words of Affirmation, Acts of Service, Receiving Gifts, Quality Time, Physical Touch. Personally, words of affirmation are a big factor for me because I value a partner that encourages me. Find your love language.

16 Personalities Test

The Myer Briggs personality test is a great way to not only learn about your partner but yourself as well. Historically, this test has been used to help people find careers that align with their interests but it offers a perspective on dating, parenting, and a friendship. All of my close friends took the test to see how we mesh as a group and it was very insightful.

Zodiac Sign Compatibility

One of the first questions someone will ask you on a date is “What’s your zodiac sign”? Though some don’t believe in the spirits and energy of the stars, most do. Understanding your sign will create a balance in your relationship that probably didn’t exist at first. Find out how your stars align below and also download the co-star app.
