Travel: London
As a little boy, I always dreamed of exploring the dapper city of London. Thanks to my friend Rumi Ali, my friends and I were able to conquer all the tourist sites in one day! I'll be back in London to explore more next week, but here are my top four spots so far:
1. Big Ben: Of course, this is my number one on the list. When I arrived at the clock it took my breath away. Big Ben's history and beauty speak for itself.
2. Brick Lane: Get some of the best food in London from Brick Lane. This street is the heart of London's Bangladeshi-Sylheti community. It's famous for their many curry spots. My friends and I got a three-course meal with free drinks for £10.
3. Telephone Booth: Ever since I watched Season 5 of America's Next Top Model, where they had to pose in a telephone booth, I was SHOOK. There were so many scattered through London that you can't miss it. Plus, no one actually uses these booths anymore. ( that's sooooo old *clueless voice*)
4. Buckingham Palace: This is the closest I'll ever get to gold. The Buckingham Palace isn't all it's cracked up to be, but when in London, do visit the palace. Luckily, we got to see one of the Queen's guards up close and gaze at his furry black hat.
