Travel: Barcelona

After spending a weekend in Barcelona, I got a feeling the Cheetah Girls were doing a little more than just strutting down the streets. From the rich history to the turnt nightlife, Barcelona was definitely one for the books. Don't believe me? Well, the next time you go on vacation visit for yourself. (thank me later)

Food

I'm not going to lie, Barcelona food was not the best but it was better than England lol. My friends and I mostly ate different types of Paella. Personally, my favorite type of Paella is one with Seafood and a little chicken. If you're into pastries, like me, there is a little shop close to "Park Guell" where they make fresh croissants and fruit cakes daily. Oh, and how could I forget? When in Spain you have to try some good ole Sangria, after all, that is where it originated.

Places

From the Sagrada Familia to Park Güell, Barcelona's modernista architecture was absolutely breathtaking. You may have seen a couple of these places in the Cheetah Girls 2 movie but to see them in person made me GAG! Also, the people in Barcelona made this experience  x10 better. Anytime we got lost or didn't know the significance of a building, people were so willing to help us. Aside from the touristy stuff, the nightlife in Barcelona is LIT! Most of the good clubs are located directly on the beach so don't worry about getting lost. I know the walk from the city center to the club seems far, but if we can do it with a hangover, so can you.

Story Time: So it's our second night out, my friend Celine lost her phone the night before and we all have weird hangovers. Yet, that didn't stop us from exploring the streets of Barcelona. We arrived at SHAKO, a hip-hop club that let us in for free. As soon as we got in we meet up with some friends from America and danced the night away . 2 hours in I decided to turn the party up and dance on the bar like Coyote Ugly. Everyone was encouraging me and enjoying my dancing. The security tapped me and told me to get down and gave me a "warning."  At this point my friends are off mingling with potential "Bae's" Still being drunk and extra, I started dancing in the middle of the club with all eyes on me. Two seconds later, I feel a security guard jack me up and literally push me out of the club. I'm yelling like "Do you know who I am ?" My friend comes to save me and asks the security why did I get kicked out? He said I was "vulgarly dancing." So to sum things up, I got too much sauce .

Alot of you asked me where'd I get these pants from, so here are some links (click on images). I hope you've enjoyed this post.
