10 Scholarships for High Schoolers
Alright scholars, it's a new year and there's more money to be awarded. Graduating high school with over half a million dollars in scholarships, grants, and award offers was no easy job, but with the help of my village, it became possible. In high school, I was an ok student with a 3.7 GPA, top 10% of my class, 21 ACT test score, and an over-achieving amount of community service hours. Applying for college/scholarships I analyzed my strengths. Since I didn't have high test scores and my GPA wasn't a 4.0, I knew that I had to focus on my extra curricular activities and personal story. Below are a list of 10 scholarships that you should start applying for NOW! Also, I'll be making another post about how to apply for scholarships, so stay tuned. But for now, check out this article.
Church's Chicekn Scholarship
A $1000 scholarship focused on extra curricular activties and GPA!
Coca-Cola Scholarship
A $20,000 scholarship awarded over the course of 4 years. The Coca-Cola Scholarship is focused on finding a well-rounded student with good test scorces, community service, and involed on campus.
Burger King Scholarship
A $1,000 scholarship awarded to a student with strong leadership skills and academic excellence.
Greenhouse Scholarship
A $20,00 scholarship awarded over the course of 4 years. The Greenhouse Scholarship is focused on finding students who align with their core values of leadership, community, accountability, and relentlessness. (Must live in Colorado, Georgia, or Illinois)
Brain Jordan Scholarship
A $5,000 scholarship awarded over the course of 4 years. Brain Jordan is a Georgia based scholarship that seeks to provide the brightest scholars in GA with financial support as they enter college.
Dell Scholarship
A $20,000 scholarship plus a laptop awarded over the course of 4 years. The Dell Scholars Program is for students who are active in extra curricular activities and examplifies relentlessness.
AXA Achievement Scholarship
A $2,500 - $25,000 scholarship awarded to students who examlpifies leadership within their school, family, and community. These leaders must have a passion for learning and love for community service.
Live Mas Scholarship
A $1,000 - $20,000 scholarship that requires students to create a 2- minute long video about your life passions
Jackie Robinson Scholarship
A $2,000 - $20,000 scholarship awarded to students with outstanding academic achievements and extra curicularr activites.
Gates Scholarship
A FULL coverage scholarship awarded to a well-rounded scholar who is dedicated to community service, academics, and extra curricular activites.
